Calgary Arts Development presents: PechaKucha Night in Calgary!

Calgary joins international centres around the world in bringing together our first ever PechaKucha Night. Devised and shared by Klein Dytham Architecture in 2003 as a place for designers, developers, and architects to meet, network, and show their work in public, PechaKucha Night is now taking place in 226 Cities around the world.  The format is simple: 20 speakers present 20 slides for 20 seconds each slide.

Calgary Arts Development's first PechaKucha Night will present a dynamic list of those working in the realm of creative spaces and places that will include Artscape Toronto's President and CEO Tim Jones and Toronto Brickworks chief architect Joe Lobko, Partner with du Toit Allsopp Hillier I du Toit Architects Limited. The Velvet Restaurant and Bar at the Grand will be open for full service during this event.

If you think you should be one of the presenters because you work in or around creative spacemaking, please contact Bil Hetherington at bil.hetherington@calgaryartsdevelopment.com
